Anxiety?
Something keeps happening to me. In random situations (quite often when out at a restaurant for example) I get this horrible thing where I feel like a can’t breathe properly and I feel sick and my hands are sweaty and shaking.
I told my mum about it and she thinks it’s probably an anxiety thing but that I shouldn’t think of it as that.
Anywayyy, there was a girl in my class last year, let’s call her T. I didn’t really speak to T that much at school but ended up texting her quite a lot and we got on well. I know she has some sort of anxiety and I felt comfortable opening up to her about what I was experiencing only to get shut down with a
“That’s called nerves. Everyone gets that”
It just made me feel horrible.
What do you think about what I’ve been experiencing (as in the shaky hands part)? And was it wrong for her to say that or was she right?
