Very Sensitive Clit.

So me and my boyfriend got a little hot and heavy a few days ago. 3 I think. And he started rubbing my clit. The rubbing got pretty intense and I had to have him slow it down. The day after my clit was very swollen and super sensitive. I was having trouble walking due to my jeans. It passed and everything was back to normal yesterday. Today however it's back and frustrating. I'm still a virgin (in the p in v sense) and I just started birth control yesterday morning. It's getting really irritating and hard to walk. Is this because of my birth control or did we just go too hard. Are there ways I can ease or make it go away? Thanks!
