Why do people like hips so much?

So I am a very curvy young lady and I have very large hips that I personally do not like. But most people I encounter else loves them and always bring them up. And its like bruh, I get it i have hips. Thank you, next subject.

My friend and my other friend's mom have stand in front of me to see what they would look like with hips. I laugh but its low key not cool mostly because im insecure about them. So can someone answer this: Why are hips so glamourized? And how can I learn to love them?
