Squirting?

I have friends that have said they have squirted and it's amazing, so of course I want to as well. Does anyone know how it actually happens or what were you doing when you did it? I've tried researching it but there isn't much out there about it.

So according to my human sexuality class: femal ejaculation comes from the Cowper's gland (it's kinda like the female version of a prostate). You can feel spongy tissue a couple inches in on the top of your vagina, that's what it is. 
Stimulation of that can cause squirting, however I believe not every woman can do it. 
If you want to try I'd recommend using some sort of toy would be your best bet

I'd tried to squirt for ages and got frustrated that it never happened, but then I did when I got a bit older. You have to override the feeling to squeeze inwards but push out instead until the big moment arrives. Try doing some kegel exercises too.
