maybe tmi fingering

so i just fingered myself for the first time, i’m 13, 14 in july and it didn’t do anything like. it felt kinda nice at once point but only a tiny bit, it just felt weird. i got my whole finger inside as well, idk if this is normal or not and what to do to make it better, help!
