I think you should tell your friend bc she’s your friend and a boy shouldn’t be the reason of you having a breakdown or something. So just ask your friend she’ll probably give you better advice than most people on here bc she knows you better and probably knows the situation better.

Tell her first. Otherwise you run the risk of losing her
