Friendship

I need help making friends. I’m homeschooled and I don’t go out much. I’m not really allowed out without my mom, but she always work. Anyways.. I’m trying to make friends with kids in my school, but it’s way harder that you would think. 1) I’m not sure if we’re allowed to talk to other kids. We have what we call a virtual office. During lunch, they enable chat permission. Idk if we’re allowed to private chat other students though. 2) I don’t want to ask someone to be friends, then get to know them and find them boring. I don’t want to put them through that, or myself. 3) I’m not sure how to make friends. People have said.. “just be natural” or “let things develop naturally “... that’s not who I am though. I don’t like to just play things natural. I want to know where I stand with someone so I don’t waste my time on a superficial relationship. I want in-depth conversations with friends.
