So there’s this guy that I met on a dating app and we’ve been talking for a month and a half. We are technically long distance since we live 2 hours away from each other and can’t hang out regularly.

My question is, how much literal talking should we be doing in the “talking” phase? Currently, we communicate through text a couple times a day and that’s it....I feel like maybe it should be a little more frequent with some phone calls thrown in now and then? I guess I’m wondering how exactly we’re supposed to get to know each other better if we don’t increase how much we communicate?

I mentioned adding in a phone call here and there and he said that he would like to but due to his busy schedule (his schedule is pretty insane) he likes to unwind at the end of the day and doesn’t feel as social. Does that sound like a legit reason or am I wasting my time with this dude?
