Sex on your period

I've had sex on my period with a bunch of my exs. Some of them were weirded out at first but then fine with it and other guys just didn't care at all. The man I've been dating for over 3 years is absolutely disgusted by it. I've never seen a reaction like he has when we even **attempt** to have sex on my period. Does anyone else have a similar problem? It makes me feel so terrible.
