So I’ve been invited to my first cervical screening (in the UK you get invited when you’re nearing 25).

I’m a virgin, and the NHS website says my chances of cervical cancer are very low when you’ve never engaged in sexual activity, and women can choose or not whether to have the screening done.

So my question is: would you have cervical screening done as a virgin? Is the discomfort etc worth it, when the chances of cancer / abnormal cells is low?
