Tinder hookups

This might be dumb as fuck but how do tinder hookups work? Like do y’all do something first or do you just show up at their place and then get right to it? How do you make it not awkward? I literally can’t imagine going to someone’s place ONLY with the intention to have sex and it not be awkward. Should you like watch TV first or something? I just don’t get it
