Ovulation tests show early pregnancy???

I've seen some posts on here about ovulation tests taken after ovulation occurs showing a line could mean your pregnant. Let me know if this is true please!

For reference: I am about 6 months pregnant and took an opk test for testing the theory. Obviously...yes, it will come up positive if you're pregnant. HOWEVER! It could continue to be positive if you are also just very fertile. ALWAYS just take a hpt!!!

Um yes it can! I kept taking them they were all really positive every day then I took a test an I was prego. They can detect it.

No, first, an ovulation test almost always has 2 lines because we almost always have a detectable amount of LH in our system.

Women can have an LH surge at any time, including just before AF, so a positive opk right before AF is due could just be that.

An hpt will show positive before an opk if pregnant.

If you get a positive opk, and think you're pregnant, you still have to take an hpt to confirm so you might as well not get your hopes up, and just take an hpt.

My OPK test strips did not come up positive when I tried this week's ago. I was using the OPK from CVS. I am about 8 weeks and tried this when I was about 5-6 weeks.

It has to be a positive opk so you need quite a bit of hcg. They are not great for confirming early but they can detect pregnancy

Ovulation tests can show positive when you are pregnant but that would not happen until the point where pregnancy tests would also be positive. You can ovulate more than once in a cycle so it's not a reliable method of testing for pregnancy. The only way to know for sure is a positive pregnancy test since.

So now the question is, does the opk have to show a positive meaning both lines dark or at least a faint line?? Mine show faint lines
