Does The Keto diet really work? If so any success stories??

I had two babies within 3 years. My youngest baby is now 1 and I am still 12 pounds heavier than I was Pre-baby. Im currently not following any strict diet, but I do eat pretty healthy. I’ve heard really good things about the KETO diet. Anyone out there with success stories??

I started keto a month and half ago and I’ve already lost 26lbs. It works as long as you stick with it and stay strict. I was 201 on the left  and now I’m 175 on the right

It works but you have to stick to it and once you stop you’ll gain the weight back. If you’re serious about it and stay with it then it’ll work well. Most people are on it so it’s getting easier to find good recipes and ways to fit you in the world

My sil is a health and fitness major and keto is actually extremely unhealthy for you and you need a well balanced diet. That’s what her advice is for people when they ask her about it.

I’m a holistic nutritionist and health practitioner and I’ve seen a lot of success with my clients and our patients using the Keto diet...
Long term it can start causing reverse issues in women due to the difference in our hormones and chemical structures 
You can get ketones and use those to help maintain a healthy carb intake without losing nutrients!

I think it works, but I think just eating healthy, fresh foods works just as well. My sister in law did it and she started losing her hair really bad. I just don’t think it’s sustainable for long term, so I don’t think it’s a good idea.

I’ve lost 20lbs on it so far! My husband doesn’t do it so it was very hard in the beginning to fight the temptations but after about 2 weeks, my body didnt have carb or sugar cravings. I realized simple recipes work better for me so I dont have to put a lot of effort into making fancy stuff.

It works but it is so bad for you. I know so many people that not only lost weight but started to lose hair and looked sickly. They have all since stopped. Eat a calorie deficit. It may not come off as quickly but it won’t come back on as quickly either and is much easier to maintain. All fad diets work. They just don’t last

It works. I haven't been super strict, more just aware of my food choices. I would call my diet low carb instead of true keto.
I have lost 26 lbs in about 12 weeks.

It definitely does work. I have quite a few friends and my sister and brother in law that have done it. My sister lost 40 lbs within 4 months on it. My husband and I started it but unfortunately my milk supply started to dry up by day 4 (I'm still breastfeeding my 11 month old). I probably should have gradually decreased my net carbs and maybe it wouldn't have happened. I ended up modifying to more of just a low carb diet, between 50 and 80g net carbs per day along with exercise and watching my calories. Been losing 1-2 lbs per week this way so I'm still getting the results I wanted 👍
