When should I be concerned about swelling?

I’m 28 weeks 2 days with my second daughter. This whole pregnancy I’ve had a little swelling but nothing too bad. Today my feet are so swollen it hurts when I walk I have no ankles. My hands and face are also swollen I can’t even wear my rubber wedding band I got to replace my actual wedding ring hat no longer fit .... I never had this with my first I just swelled when I have birth.

Go to a pharmacy and take your blood pressure today. It can change very quickly. I agree that swollen face is concerning. And headaches/seeing spots is not good either.

Be seen ASAP! Swelling in the face is not normal. That was my first sign of preeclampsia

I would take your blood pressure immediately. If it’s high, you need to call your doctor today. If it’s not, you can wait until tomorrow but I’d still call and let the nurse know that you’ve had swelling- they may want you to come in. I would never take swelling lightly as it can be a sign of a serious problem like pre-eclampsia.

I had bad swelling with my first! Elevate those bad boys and keep well hydrated! Check your blood pressure and share with your doctor. My doc was only worried if the swelling didn’t go down over night and if my blood pressure was above 140.

Sorry I haven’t been getting any notifications. Blood pressure has been fine lots more swelling this week and some spotting but my doctor isn’t super concerned said that swelling is common in pregnancy especially in the summer . She thinks me seeing spots and passing out is due to my migraines which she thinks is caused by all the hormones. Baby looks well

Have you been drinking lots of water, when you are dehydrated you will swell up. Also, check your blood pressure. Do you have blurred vision, headache, or epigastric pain??? A
