All the feelings

The situation is, I'm pretty sure I'm in love with someone who is actually my best friend (male). Like the feeling was/is mutual I guess but it's going no where. We are just us and at first I was satisfied with an emotional relationship, because he's not sure he wants more or could deal with more (it's complicated) but things have been on a huge hold lately and I hate this "dangling by a thread" feeling. Like I love him to pieces, even just as a friend or more.... And I never want that to change. I just don't know what to do about my feelings for him. Because I don't want anything serious, I've just somehow stupidly fallen for him anyways. 

I'm sorry this question is so badly structured, I guess I just didn't know what I was really asking till I typed it all out.
