So there’s this guy I really like. I’m 16 and he’s 17. I’m not kidding; ik I love him. He’s not super handsome or any of that jazz. This is a couple of reasons why I love😉.

He understands me

He will protect me—he’s stuck up for me when his friends joke about me in a not-so-nice way.

He finds himself angry if people wrong me

He understands prayer is important (were both Christians so it’s important to us)

He doesn’t Judge me

He’s young at heart

He doesn’t care about what people think if he knows what he’s doing is right

He knows school doesn’t define us

He’s humble

He’s sweet

He cares about how people feel

He’s gentle

He loves animals

He won’t stand to be treated like an idiot

He has a strong sense of humour

I can trust him—I would trust him with my life

He wants to help me

BUTTTTTTTTTTT...

There’s a problem. My friends think he’s plain weird bc they don’t know his heart and his friends stereotype me...so our friends (non-mutual)

probably wouldn’t like ideas of a relationship between us.

He’s never said he likes me, I do know he cares.

When we are together alone, and that’s not often, things are great between us, but when our seperate friendgroups are hovering, our only communication is all-knowing smiles😔.

What should I do? He’s been a life changing friend, but I want more than that and it seems impossible😭.
