Do you mean mucous plug? That's different from bloody show. Bloody show happens when you are pretty far dilated already. I think I was 7 cm or so. Mucous plug is just a gob of goo that's brownish tinged that's different

After my bloody show I went into labor, had my son 4hrs later

With my first I was already in labour for 3 days when I had my bloody show (it was a loooooong labour and delivery). With my second and third I never had a bloody show, even though I was in labour for two days with my second. Third was a planned csection
