Natural childbirth options?

Thinking about an epidural makes me more nervous than giving birth! I definitely want to give birth in the hospital but can anyone recommend any classes or methods for natural childbirth?

Prepare your partner with the expectation that they will need to be involved and supportive of your choice.
​I read the entire Hypnobabies book and highlighted things for my spouse to read. I made him watch youtube videos with me. We also researched pressure points and massage techniques that he could use in the delivery room.
​You have a good reason for not wanting an epidural. My first time, it was more about experiencing the feelings and doing it because people doubted me. This time, it's strictly because I have heard too many stories of long-term side effects. 
​If you get there and decide you do want to have an epidural, don't consider yourself a failure. There are many people out there who have had successful births and have enjoyed the experience more because they weren't in a ton of pain.

Look into hypnobabies or hypnobirthing. Also you could look into the Bradley method. Also, a great doumentary to educate you more about hospital procedures is "The Business of Being Born". A couple of great books: Ina May's Guide to Childbirth, and Natural Hospital Birth. I would highly recommend hiring a doula as they can help you get through it all without interventions. And mostly, you can do it!! Good luck on your journey!
