Did you have butterflies while dating your husband?

So I was talking to a single friend and she was asking me if I thought she should be feeling butterflies for a guy she would think about marrying. I started thinking about it and I didn't feel butterflies for my husband of 7 years, but he always felt like home. I'm curious if women usually marry men who "give them butterflies" and if that feeling lasts or fades over 5-10 years.

I still do but not all the time. Definitely just here and there. But I love him more than myself, my child, my dogs, life, everything. He’s everything.

We have been together for years! Since I was 16. Now we have a home, a child, 2 dogs, and we are married. We still flirt with each other and every day I get butterflies from him. I'm extremely lucky to have found my soulmate. I cant imagine being married and not feeling in love or having butterflies. I just look at him and my heart starts racing with happiness

I've been with my husband for 10.5 years. He's a truck driver whose gone Monday-Friday. I still get butterflies when he's on his way home for the weekend. I feel giddy & just like a teenager excited to see her bf. Lol 😊
