Sorry I didn’t know which group to post in. I am technically TTC but it’s not really that topic I don’t know. I had a d&c on Friday (4 days ago), I miscarried at 8 weeks and was in a great deal of pain with no bleeding and was taken into emergency theatre the Friday morning. Afterwards I had light bleeding and some cramps but I felt ok. Then Sunday night I started cramping a bit more and I felt as though everything was sore and tender like down there it felt “raw” like raw skin. Anyhow, got given antibiotics and told it “might be” an infection and these will clear it if it is regardless of my urine coming back clear for infection. The last two days, today especially I am so sore. Everything hurts, my whole body aches and I have awful cramps and sharp spasm sensations all of the time in my uterus and what feels like my rectal area, brown stringy discharge which is fine no blood but the horrible spasms and pains are exhausting, I feel so unwell in myself and I’ve started vomiting because I feel so out of it and in pain. I am taking codeine, with food and I’ve taken codeine before with no issues. Is this normal? Has anyone had this experience? I don’t want to go to my GP and be told this is totally normal but I feel god awful :(
