Anyone ever had “toasted skin syndrome”? 😩

Lady

It’s also known as hot bottle rash. Basically, I sat near a heater for too many times, for too long of a time, causing my lower leg to essentially get too hot but not hot enough to cause a burn. Kind of like what you see after using a heating pad for too long. This has taken longer to heal, as it’s already been a few days since I noticed it. I have removed the heat source, which I know is step one, but is there anything else I can do to help with the healing process and hopefully help my leg go back to normal?🤦🏻‍♀️😩

To add: I already made an appt before this occurred, and it’s coming up in March. If it’s still there at that point I’ll ask the physician. But until then, any helpful tips?
