Why circumcised baby's tip of penis turning blue?

My baby is 4 and half month old, it's been 9th day to his circumcision and it's a plasticbell one. Every thing was fine but in the today, when I was changing his diaper saw a blackish,blue bump on the tip of his penis, I called my husband as he is on work so that we may go to doctor and he said, pediatrician who did our baby's surgery sees patients at  8:00 PM, in evening. I'm crying and want some answers from all of you guys as I have to wait for hours until the Dr is available. Thanks

I would go see another pediatrician. It doesn’t have to be the same one that did the circumcision.

I work with two year olds, most of our boys are circumcised and sometimes the tips of their penises will be a bit blue. That’s completely normal

If he doesn’t seem to be in pain I wouldn’t think too much of it. My sons was a pinkish purple while it was healing. But he didn’t have the ring so I’m no sure if that’s normal.

Umm maybe ring up the hospital and ask. That sounds terrible

Normal as my sons penis has a bluish/ purple tip  since he was circumcised but get a second opinion just to be on the safe side
