Shooting my shot going slow help the kid

There’s this boy in my dorm he is fine af y’all. Whenever I see him around campus we give each other these quick flirty looks but that’s all he lives on floor down from me.

Last week I decided to shoot my shot went out of my comfort zone and followed him on IG. He followed back. I thought that would lead to some type of interactions but it’s been slow. What’s the next step your girl should take. I don’t know when we will be going back to school so it’s slow
