Blood vomit?

Im 8weeks and 6 days pregnant.
I’m also fasting but when I got nausea I started to throw up on an empty stomach but all that came out was this tiny bit of blood. Is it normal?

Why are you fasting? Unless you need to for a test or something that is NOT recommended during pregnancy AT ALL. That’s probably why you threw up blood. Nothing to come up so it is irritating everything. Feed yourself & your baby, unless directed otherwise by your dr for a test.

Blood can be from irritation from the vomitting.

Fasting during pregnancy is not good, don't do like the old ladies of the old generation has done. Fasting will cause the sac to get smaller. Once an obgyn doctor said that fasting for pregnant ladies is not good, it will cause either miscarriage or preterm birth. Those ladies who gave birth to a healthy baby are lucky.
I am a Muslim myself and I am not fasting, I can fast the months of Ramadan later after breastfeeding. Maybe this is why you found blood while vomiting. Ask your doctor if you have her number or his number.

I wouldn’t fast at all. I understand why but it’s unsafe for baby right now. Anything you eat sends baby vitamins and nutrients that it needs to grow and develop healthily. When I was in my first trimester, i would sometimes see blood but it was normally because the stomach acid would burn my throat and lips, causing them to bleed. I’d definitely recommend going to your dr or midwife with your concerns though just in case it’s internal.

When I was in the beginning of my pregnancy I couldn’t eat so I’d have an empty stomach. I would dry heave for hours and when I finally got something down my stomach it would come back up with blood. My doctor says I irritated my esophagus. It happens a lot when I have a bad cough
