HELP/NEED ANSWERS

So me and this boy just started talking and he text me this question which I hate because I never know how to answer it. Which is “tell me about yourself” I know u may be thinking it’s an easy question just talk about yourself but I don’t want to be too broad or too detailed or too boring. When some text u or ask you that question what y’all usually include in the answer? Because one time someone ask me that question and he was like I didn’t mean all of that and I told him my age, birthday, favorite color, u know the basics. But I guess he wanted something different idk
