I blocked my ex boyfriend

So my ex joined Twitter recently and as soon as I found out I blocked him (in short we dated for about 3 months and then I found out that he has been cheating on me so then I broke up with him)

So I blocked him and then I find out that he has been tweeting about me and my friends. And even tho we've not talked in 6 months all this started getting to me a little. And now all his friends call me toxic and stuff.

I was wondering if I should call a truce? Maybe apologize for blocking him?

But again he treated me like shit the entire time, but I loved him yk? I'm so confused and well I'm sad and lonely. HELP
