When to BD?

So according to this app, my ovulation day is ALWAYS the day I enter a positive OPK. I thought when you got a positive OPK, ovulation would be the next day or day after. Why is GLOW marking my ovulation day as the day I get a positive? I feel like I’m totally missing my day because of this. I’ve covered my bases this month by doing it every day of my window but unsure what will come of it!

I just got a positive OPK today so I thought I'd share my chart, showing peak OPK/fertility today, but ovulation tomorrow. Dark green is fertility, but the next day is DPO 0. Make sense? Is your different from this?

Answer

You ovulate 12-28hrs after peak surge (Although sone ppl say 34-48hrs). But typically it should be the day after surge and the day before temp spike (if you track that). However, ovulation can occur on the day your LH peaks. It varies by person.
