Dishonest to avoid conflict

My boyfriend is the most laid back go with the flow person I’ve ever met, and that’s mostly because he hates conflict. He will tell you that’s his least favorite thing in the world.. and although part of me loves that about him, part of me hates it. Because I’ve noticed he will be dishonest with me to avoid making me upset/mad.

We’ve obviously talked about it and he knows that it isnt okay, but has anyone else gone through the same thing w their man ?

( we have an appointment with a couple’s therapist to talk more about it but just wanted to see if anyone else’s man does this and how do you handle it?)
