Cysts during baseline?

Question

Hi all, had my baseline this AM to start my first 
IVF
 cycle and had a cyst on one side so my doctor is pushing us out until next cycle. Has anyone had this experience or know ways to reduce/avoid? 
Edit* likely a side effect of 4 clomid cycles with failed iui & first time this has appeared

Hi KD, 
I had the same issue. After a failed IUI, I went to another clinic for IVF. There, my dr said I have cycst on one side which is normal after all the stimulations. And said 90% of the time cycst dissapear in one cycle so suggested we wait for one month. Another option was to start birth control but we didnt do that to give it a try once more on our own.
During that month However I also applied a folk remedy thats very know in Turkey :) that is boiling one medium size onion (cut into 4 pieces) and drink one cup of that warm water to empty stomach before dinner. I started the 3rd day of my cycle and did it until the ovulation. 
Normally, I dont believe in and apply this sort of cure but this time I wanted to try because I though it wouldnt hurt. 
At the end the cycst was gone and we started the treatment this month. Currently, our 3rd day embrios (12) are growing in their dishes and my transfer is planned for this saturday 🥰

After my egg retrieval I developed 14 cyst and had to delay my transfer, so I couldn’t do fresh. That was in September 2020 I finally dis my frozen transfer November 24th with only 4 cyst left and it was successful 😁 11w2d now

Yes me 🙋‍♀️ I went in for baseline on Jan 2nd and was about to start my injections but they saw a cyst on right ovary and suggested to postpone IVF. I am on Yaz a birth control tablet which apparently helps cyst go away. I am waiting for my period to start on 28th Jan and begin my injections if all is okay. Best luck to u too. Don’t worry it looks all normal.

Hi KD, I didn’t have the prelim scans that I should have prior to starting my down Reg, then during my first stim scan they identified what they think may be a polyp... they’ve decided to continue and I have retrieval tomorrow where they are going to take a better look at it, I think if they’d spotted it on my prelim scans they would have checked it out before allowing me to proceed with treatment.
Sometimes things like this can end up being what caused the infertility!
