Forgot how to roll?

Question

When my baby was 4 months old he rolled over 10+ times from front to back but hasn't done it again in almost a month! Is it normal for babies to 'forget' or have to relearn something they have done before? he seems like he doesn't know how to roll anymore....

My LO is exactly the same, was guaranteed to roll if put on her tummy, now nothing, though she is tolerating tummy time a lot better and is making the crawling actions but without lifting her belly up, so thinking she might just skip the rolling stage altogether!!

You can always check with your health pro if you are worried but I was told it's totally normal! 
My baby rolled tummy to back at 3 and a half months, spent the whole day on it and rolled occasionally for the next week or two. Then stopped and hadn't rolled again until about a week ago - he is now 5 months. 
In the meantime he spent an entire 2 days blowing raspberries, a whole day practicing rolling the other way, a day rotating on his tummy, and a lot of time discovering his feet. I think he just likes to try new things, rather then going back to what he has already achieved. Your bub could be similar.

Yeh my boy forgot for like two months and then remembered recently, been doing it for a few weeks no stop and no the last few days has forgotten again 🤦🏼‍♀️

As long as your baby is getting stronger it is totally normal. My first had long periods of time without rolling.
