When I masturbate I feel a wave of pleasure. My vagina starts twitching and one time I did actually “came” but I’m confused because every time I read about female orgasms they make it seem like it’s this huge thing. I do feel my body writhe and get hot but it only lasts a few seconds. No vaginal fluid comes out so is it still an orgasm? After it passes, I use my vibrator a few more times to get that feeling again but like mentioned it only lasts a few seconds. I get frustrated because I want to experience a true orgasm like the ones I read. It’s to the point I’ve cried about it. Please advise. I’m very naive when it come to masturbation. I’m sure levels of intensity vary from woman to woman but if you have to ask I feel like it can’t be an orgasm. You KNOW when you have one so if you’re questioning it I doubt that is what you’re describing.

Use the vibrator on your clit and keep going even for that wave of pleasure because I feel like you are almost there and not actually having an orgasm. Fluids don’t have to come out but I feel like the feeling is stronger than what you are describing.

That’s probably an orgasm!! For a while mine were a lot smaller and I was also frustrated when I first started because I wasn’t sure if they were orgasms or if I was missing something. It turns out women describe orgasms differently and I think a lot of the media version is hyped. If you reach a sort of “climax” and you feel a pleasant sensation or heat radiating from your clitoris, and your vagina contracts, that’s an orgasm. A few seconds sounds right! And I’m not sure what you mean by fluid, there is no ejaculation or anything and squirting is uncommon and not necessary. You will be wet and I usually get more wet when I cum. 
After a few years and without any pressure of what it’s supposed to feel like or if it’s supposed to be bigger like on tv, I feel like I get more into it and I can enjoy it more and it can last a little longer. If you can have another couple with your vibrator that’s actually much more rare! Some people can’t have multiple orgasms. If you’re still not sure, just keep practicing it. This is what I call my minor orgasm. It feels good but I still feel wanting after.
There are bigger, better ones that I call major orgasms that are probably more like you're thinking. After those it's like a state of bliss and I can't really move and sometimes I pass   out during the orgasm. It's like losing all voluntary control of my body.
I can't have the second type when I'm stressed out so I don't go in aiming for orgasm. If I have the minor I keep going. I only have the major with penetration but many women need clitoral stimulation. I do get fluid for both of those but that's not necessarily common.
