pituitary tumor and pregnancy?

A few years ago I was diagnised with a Prolactinoma. I am wondering how this will affect my chances of getting pregnant and if a healthy pregnancy is possible. Any insights??

I have high prolactin levels and I'm going on Nov 20th to see why...I'm hoping its not a pitutary tumor..but they say its kinda common!  :-( im not sure exactly how it can effect pregnancy (read a few things can happen) I'm in my 2WW right now...good luck & crazy baby dust!  :-P

I found out I had a pituitary gland tumor 7 years ago after my first healthy daughter was born. They believe I have had it for possibly 8 years prior to that. It never caused any issues while I was pregnant. We r TTC again and have a neurologist on board just to monitor my levels but I have no reason to worry about it. Multiply MRIs and it has never changed. Please post how you are doing, I am glad I am not alone.

It is under control and my hormones are where they are supposed to be. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

Pituitary can affect your growth hormone levels. This would be a high risk pregnancy. Nothing is impossible but you really need to discuss this with your physician.
