Too fast?

I've been talking to my now boyfriend for quite a few months now. However, we just hung out for the first time a little less than a month ago. He kissed me the second time we hung out, asked me out on Christmas. A little less than a week after having asked me out, we had sex. He wasn't pushy about if, he was very respectful and made sure it was what I wanted and that he wasn't going against my will or anything. Is it wrong to move so fast? I mean, I trust him and all and he makes me happy I just feel kind of stupid just jumping into the relationship. But I know someone who got married after knowing someone for two weeks, and they've been married for a few years now.
