How many months is 20 weeks?

I've seen so many different calendars that say 4 months then others saying 5. It's really confusing. Does anyone agree with this chart? Or do you use something else.

You can't really tally weeks and months because there aren't exactly 4 weeks in a month, except for February! I count weeks, and I don't count it as a month until the date of my last period passes... So my last period was Feb 5th, so on the 5th of every month (today!) I say I'm another month. It's just easier for me to figure out that way haha. So I'm 17+2 today, but I say I'm four months :)

You should ask your care provider and they will tell you what to go by. Remember not all pregnancy are the same. If you notice some will go up to 40wks because that is consider a "normal" pregnancy some up to 42wks so it depends.

My doctor told me to go by this one, for my pregnancy.

I just say 5 months. Then 24 weeks 6 months and so on till 40 weeks which is 10 months

It depends on how you want to look at it. At 20 weeks you are 4.5 months pregnant or 2 weeks into the 5th month of your pregnancy. When you are officially 5 months pregnant it would be at the last day of week 21. I am 19w4d and say I'm 5 months bc I am within my fifth month of pregnancy. It's just like with the weeks. I am 19w4d. I can say I am 20 weeks pregnant bc I am 4 days into my 20th week, but technically I will not be 20 weeks exactly until 3 days from now. Not sure if that helped to clarify lol. I think the only thing that really matters is getting your trimesters right. Your baby probably isn't going to come on time anyway so it's really no biggie to know the exact month or week unless you're looking to hit a certain milestone.

You can't really interchange months and weeks exactly accurately because some months have fewer/more weeks than others. If you want a good idea of how many months you are, just count months past your last period instead of weeks.
