Just a bad experience?
I feel as if I had a horrible experience with my csection. I was wheeled back into the OR room to start pushing(which is normal for twin pregnancies). Dilated to a 10. Before I started, they checked and immediately had to start prepping me for a csection. Baby a wasn't head down, he never was, he was butt first. So I had to have the csection. But I felt everything on one side, the epideral only worked on half my body. They even upped the epideral. And I still felt everything. I was giving a sedative after they pulled baby b out. I only remember meeting one of my sons. Then I passed back out. I see everyone's pictures of them wide awake and smiling with their babies. Were you all actually aware of what was going on? Is it normal to be giving a sedative during a csection? Are they really that bad or was it just a bad experience? I have a very high pain tolerance, but even this amount of pain made me pass out and start snoring after the pulled twin a out. I don't plan on having anymore children at the moment, but for future reference.
