Itchy/burning vagina a day after sex?

We used non-latex condoms so that eliminates the idea of being allergic to latex and having an std. However, I woke up this morning and felt discomfort and it felt like I needed to pee really bad and it was itchy and sensitive to touch. I got up to pee and the feeling lessened. There's no discharge or anything. Could I have a yeast infection? I'm 16 and on holiday so I don't know how I would be able to deal with it. My parents also aren't aware that I'm sexually active. Please help!

It turned out to be a yeast infection so I let my mum know and we just went down to the chemist and bought some cream to insert

Yeast infections aren't typically a direct result of having sex so telling your parents won't let the cat out of the bag.

A yeast infection is caused by an imbalance of bacteria and a sugary diet. It can also be caused by not cleaning properly down there after sex.

Take precautions, stay clean, and try some folk remedies if you need to. Also take probiotics to restore bacterial balance. But don't be afraid to tell your parents you need an appointment because those can get HELLA uncomfortable. I've got one now. My doctor didn't even have to look at me because based on my description of the symptoms she knew exactly what I had and what I needed. Good luck

Don't touch it don't wear tight clothing you can buy stuff at the pharmacy or drugstore for yeast infections

It might be a bladder infection, or UTI. If it starts burning when you pee, your pee is cloudy or smells weird, or there's blood I your pee, go see a doctor. It's not fun, but the good news is that they'll prescribe you an antibiotic pill that will rid you of the symptoms within a day or two! Keep taking the pills for a week or however long they tell you too so it doesn't come back though!
