Tried to loose virginity

The guy I'm seeing tried to have sex last night cause I wanted to loose my virhinity and the time felt right. But everytime he tried to put it in the pain was unbearable for me 😭 we tried 3 times during the night but I don't know if it was lack of lubrication or what? Each time felt like my whole downstairs was gonna tear open ... I did have some bleeding after... Any ideas on how to make it less uncomfortable or painful? ..
