Religion vs Relationship?

My boyfriend and I have two very different religions and it hasn't caused an issue between us because we respect what the other believes in and talk about it openly. However, my parents are freaking out and don't even want to meet him now because of his religion. They think we are doomed to fail or that he will pull me away from my beliefs. Does anyone have experience with this? -20 year old college student

Thank you both! I'm a Christian (but not a devout one) and he is kind of agnostic/athiest and believes in some things I don't fully understand but want to. My parents think he is some sort of devil worshiper so I hope that if and when they meet him, they'll realize that he is a wonderful person and won't even remember or care about what he believes.

My boyfriend is Christian. I'm don't have any religion and don't know what I believe in. 
It doesn't bother him that I'm not religious. We've talked about it he's told me about the bible and all this other stuff and I'm respectful and listen. We go to church together bc it's all just something he was raised into so I don't have the right to try and change that and I wouldn't even if I did. When we have kids. They'll go to church and Sunday school and be raised Christian and then have a choice to continue the religion once they're old enough. The only issue I foresee is his mother. She's very very religious. And she's made 'jokes' from time to time about like asking if I believe in God. I'm just worried she won't want us to get married until and unless I convert

My boyfriend is Christian and I was a raised Buddhist. Religion has never been a huge fighting topic for us but more of a bonding one seeing as we can relate our religions and respect them. His parents were disappointed that he wasn't dating a nice, Christian white girl but they came to terms that we shared similar beliefs and I was able to support and respect their lifestyle. It was just a mutual stand on how religion shouldn't be the main reason for disliking one another but more so morals and manners. Hope this helps!
