Caught in the middle

So my friend has been hanging out with a guy and he calls her his girlfriend even though he has never asked her out and his friend knows a heap of my friends anyway so she asked me if I knew her friend and I had heard of him so I said yes. She keeps telling me that he likes me but I have never had a conversation with him and I might see him in a few days along with her and her bf. What do I do
