Urine burn

So I recently lost my virginity. We used a condom. A day after I found something soooooo funky. so when I would pee it would hurt, kind of a burn feeling. And then I started smelling something burn and so at first I was like what in the world but it was really my urine that smelled burn. I don't know if it was the type of condom we used or if it really was me. It had never happened to me before. Can anyone give me insight?
