Baby girl clothes?

Question

Anyone else that's having a girl have any recommendations for where to buy cute clothes and other stuff at a decent price? I wanna get some more stuff and find a coming home outfit and blanket! Show me what yall have gotten so far!

We just found out Friday we were having a girl so I've onl got this so far.. All from wal mart but carters online had some cute stuff !

They outgrow their clothes so fast in the first two years that I wouldn't recommend any of the more pricey stores like Oshkosh. If you have the money to spend then sure go for it but if you are on budget I wouldn't even skim through the racks there.

I loved the Wal-Mart garanimals line. It's actually pretty decent quality given how cheap it is. And it is every day play clothes that you don't have to worry about getting dirty (think spit ups and messy baby food for later in the year lol)  Target has some nice clothes too, most of what we have bought for baby girl has been from there so far. My only complaint is the lack of colors. Almost everything is white or pink. But I've been able to find a few cute things in purples and blues.

For every day going out clothes, target again, marshalls or Ross. Carter's always has some kind of in store special so you may be able to find something really cute for wicked cheap. The children's place I would recommend more for older toddlers and kids but you can find some cute stuff there.

For shoes, I would say save your money for the first year. Shoes are uncomfortable during the crawling phase. Once baby starts taking steps though check out stride rite. They have adorable shoes and they are designed for babies learning to walk. They are a bit pricey but I think it's worth it. Don't buy online until you go to the store and have them measure baby's feet. Fit is super important with shoes.

I got all of this for under $20 at a mom2mom sale and a ton of onesies from kohls for under $2. I'm trying to stop buying until our shower!

My mum went CRAZY at the thrift store. I have only bought four or five items for her personally, but mum bought all of this that is pictured. A lot of it still has original tags on.

I've gotten all this at local thrift shop on 2 separate trips where they had everything in the store 1/2 off...I am due early June so I've mostly gotten warm weather clothes for summer & sleepers/onesies for hm use...my husband & most of his family is petite so I'm waiting on getting winter clothes until closer to winter b/c my baby may be small and if I get clothes based on her age they may fit her too big. My niece also just had a baby girl late December so my daughter will be getting those hand me downs when she gets here. I will be stocking up on brand new towels, wash cloths, mittens, socks & hats & shopping online for good deals. I'll be getting my little girl some baby converse in every color also & those will hopefully be her 1st pair of shoes so I can keep them in a memory box for when she gets older. Also I got my son's take home outfit at Burlington super cheap & included a hat in a mesh Baggie I kept to save my son's hospital crib hat & umbilical cord once it came off... I love saving little stuff here and there so he can have something to pass on to his kids in the future b/c my mom didn't save any of my stuff & I dnt have stuff to give my daughter....I need to check w my mother in law to see if she has any of my hubby's stuff frm when he was a kid besides pic albums
