Mixed signals

So there's this guy and he acts all flirty and stuff and he asked to hang out and I invited him over and we were laying on the couch and he started kissing me and we ended up hooking up and then when he was leaving he gave me this big hug and he kissed me goodbye. We've talked every day since but he hooked up with this other girl 1 1/2 weeks ago...we haven't had a chance to hang out since..is he just using me ?
