Boyfriend problems

So, my boyfriend of almost 6 months never ever compliments me. I mean, seriously I give him great opportunities to compliment me and he never does. He just says "well if that's how you feel" if I'm saying I feel/look fat. I feel like the only time he actually does compliment me is when I'm naked & about to have sex. Is that normal for relationships or should I be worried?
