What just happened?

So my boyfriend and I had sex as usual and afterward we realized the condom had ripped. I am on the pill but I've messed up taking it week a few times due to travelling. So I freaked out (this has never happened before) and started crying. And he just got out of bed and got in the shower. He didn't say anything to me. He just totally ignored me. So I just left and went to my university clinic and saw the doctor who gave me plan b because of a couple missed pills. He hasn't called or texted me. I haven't heard from him at all. Is this normal? Im upset that he couldn't even bother to make sure I was ok?
