Should I take a test or not?

So I have had unprotected sex, numerous times due to the fact I'm trying to conceive. My period is due in 5 days, so I'm not late. But I have felt cramps for a week or so now and I normall don't have them until the end of my period. my boobs are swollen, my discharge is different too. I'm moody and have headaches, but I get those sometimes when it's almost period time. Should I take a test or wait?
