Hello i am 20 yrs old.... n i recently had sex with my bf one nd a half month ago...cdm torn..... so i took contraceptive..... is that harmful to my body at this age...??

Not at all. I started taking the pill at 15 due to irregular periods and cramps that would make me faint. I wasn't sexually active until years later. I'm 20 now. A year ago I went to my doctor for a regular check up (yearly exam) and she told me that my uterine lining was too thin and to stop birth control for a few months. Well my fiancée and I decided to try for a baby during that time. Not even a week after I had been off of it, with the first try we got pregnant. I now have a healthy 5 month old and back on bc. So no, it doesn't affect your fertility:) you get less cramps, lighter flow, you know exactly when your period starts and you're protected just in case you have an accident. It's beneficial in many ways :)

Not at all! If you are really worried, I would talk to your doctor about getting a pill prescription or a different form of contraceptive. On the pill, all it does is make your cervical mucus thicker so the egg won't stick. When you *do* want to get pregnant, just stop taking it.

Also make sure to check the dates on your condoms! They expire!
