Implant curiosity

It's been 8-9 months since I had the stupid thing taken out. I mean it was perfect during high school no periods, but I had very bad side effects that led me to taking it out. I'm just hearing really bad stuff about the implant. Like a mutual friend is finally having her 2nd child after being off the implant for she has been trying FOREVER and has had multiple miscarriages... A super close friend of mine tried to have her 2nd but couldn't due to the implant. What if it happens to me? I know everyones body is different but, Im not really trying to have a baby right now but definitely want to have children in the near FUTURE. This has just been on my mind so much here lately and I don't even know why! Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this? I mean would it help if I get back on the pill version of birth control? I just need some opinions.
