I'm so confused

So I've been hanging out with my ex every single day. And yesterday (mind you we have no intention of getting back together) they felt me up and we made out. Like we agreed we weren't getting back together but now my emotions are all wack cus we kissed and just idk. Like the feeling me up and everything up to the kissing was fine. Why was kissing them so different? Am I crazy? Any ideas? Because I'm really confused.
