still bleeding around period when pregnant?

So I know this may sound crazy but I think I'm pregnant and I would be about 5 weeks but last month I should of missed my period then like two weeks ago but I didn't it wasn't as heavy as it would normally be but it wasn't light enough to be implantation bleeding. On the internet some people said the first month of pregnancy they still got a period and carried on with being pregnant. Has anyone else had this?
