Just friends?

I went on a date with a guy I've known since high school...we have chatted here and there but nothing much. 3 months go by and we start talking and flirting again...he asks me to b his plus 1 to an event out of state. We shared a bed, no sex, cuddled all night both nights. Made plans to hang out more etc but then when he dropped me off at home I got a side hug and a fist bump. The next night he posts on Facebook that he thinks he's ready to move on from his former life....any ideas on what this guy wants?! I mean side hugs and fist bumps don't exactly scream " I wanna b with you"
